Night Work on I-10 in Santa Rosa County
 
Chipley –Weather permitting Monday night, February 8, the westbound outside lane of I-10, one mile east of exit 22 (Avalon Boulevard) will be closed between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. Tuesday morning to pour concrete supports for  sign structures.

Wednesday night, February 10, the eastbound outside lane of I-10, one mile west of exit 22 (Avalon Boulevard) will be closed between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. Thursday morning to allow for construction of concrete supports for sign structures. Drivers are reminded to use caution and to obey the speed limit when traveling through the work zone.
 
This work is part of the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) project currently under construction along I-10 and I-110 in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.  Utilizing state-of-the-art technologies, the project will enhance the mobility, efficiency and safety of the freeway system in the Pensacola urban area.
 
Intermittent Lanes Restrictions on US 98 in Santa Rosa County

Tuesday through Friday (February 9 -12)
Weather permitting:  east and westbound traffic on US 98 between the entrance to the Zoo and the Santa Rosa/ Okaloosa County line will encounter intermittent lane restrictions Tuesday through Friday (February 9 -12) between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Environmental and Geotechnical Specialists, Inc. will be taking core samples at various locations along the roadway.  Drivers are reminded to use caution and to obey the speed limit when traveling through the work zone.
